Weekly tracking
Growth and Pro default to Weekly tracking on; turn it off in Settings to stop future scheduled questions. A run already queued still finishes. Up to 8 buyer questions from product titles use the selected, available engines: OpenAI web search and Perplexity Agent on Growth; Pro can also select Grok (xAI) web search. Claude (Anthropic) is manual-only, not scheduled. A mention is a provider-attached citation of your store domain, not a search-result listing or text-only name match. This is not a chat ranking. Scheduled runs have a separate cap of 4 per UTC month: no catch-up or fifth run in a five-Monday month. Manual runs and competitive comparison use the unchanged manual limit. A scheduled window is not a promise that the cron is configured; activation requires privacy deployment and owner approval.
Test installs
Real provider measurement is disabled for test installs, including development/reviewer stores with test subscriptions, because provider calls incur real costs. This includes manual runs, scheduled runs, and competitive measurement; paid test plans do not bypass this restriction. Schema generation, MCP tools, heuristic optimization, and eligible live HTML checks can still be reviewed.
FAQ
Can I switch plans? Yes. Use Shopify's hosted pricing page to select an available monthly plan. Shopify remains the billing authority.
Does a real-AI run guarantee placement? No. It reports what OpenAI web search and Perplexity returned for that run. Provider responses and product visibility can change.
Is the optimizer automatic? No. Recommendations and rewrites are advisory; Shopify product content changes only when the merchant saves it.
