Installation
- Install the app from the Shopify App Store
- Grant permissions — we need read access to your products and themes (no order access required)
- Open the dashboard — you'll see your AI GEO overview
Quick Start
Step 1: Generate GEO Schemas
Click "Generate GEO Schemas" on the dashboard. This creates JSON-LD structured data (Product, Offer, Rating, Breadcrumb) for your products (plan limits: Free 25, Growth 500, Pro unlimited).
Step 2: Run an AI Discovery Crawl
Click "Run AI Discovery Crawl" to simulate how AI shopping agents see your products. The crawl checks web search results and records which products appear.
Step 3: Get Your MCP API Key
Go to Settings → MCP Storefront and generate an API key. This lets AI agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) query your store directly.
Step 4: Connect to AI Agents
Use your MCP API key to connect your store to any AI agent that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
What is GEO?
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the practice of optimizing your online content so that AI-powered search engines (like ChatGPT Search, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot) can find, understand, and recommend your products.
Unlike traditional SEO (which targets Google's ranking algorithm), GEO targets the AI models that generate answers for users.
